Maui, "The Valley Island", is the second youngest of the Hawaiian Islands. Maui is home to Haleakala Crater, the world's largest dormant volcano. Maui attractions include Iao Valley, the scenic drive to Hana, sunrise at Haleakala National Park, and snorkeling Molokini. Maui also has beautiful beaches, including a black sand beach and a hidden red sand beach.

Be sure to consult road map when planning activities for your Maui vacation. There is no road that connects Hana to the Keawakapu area. Also, part of the Piilani Highway has been closed, eliminating access to the backside of Haleakala National Park from Hana.
